Here is one of my favorite quotes: “When I am in a good mood, I feel cheerful and happy. When I am in a bad mood, I feel sad and depressed. When I am in a good mood, I feel peaceful, and when I am in a bad mood, I feel angry and hostile.” Now, this isn’t an old-timey folk song; this is a quote from the book The Wisdom of Crowds.
The book is a little more contemporary than the quotes contained within it, but it is still a great book. The quote comes from an interesting piece of research that I wrote about a few years ago. In a nutshell, the idea is that when I am in a really good mood, I feel more connected to people around me. When I am depressed, I feel more isolated. When I am angry, I feel more isolated, and when I am peaceful, I feel more isolated.
So this quote is a great one to use in your own self-awareness training. One of the most important things that you can do to become more aware of your moods is to take a little piece of you and put it in the world.

I think we should get into the habit of talking with the people who you are. And if you can’t be friends because of an issue, or because of a stress situation, that’s not right. There is a third way to do this. We should be more aware of who we are, and what we are doing. I think you should not only read a book or watch a video; you should also go out and meet people. Even if you dont have the best chance to meet someone, you should meet people for whatever reason. You never know who you might meet along the way. I think it is important we not only be aware of our intentions but also be aware of our actions.
