An example of the difference between self-awareness and self-control is in the relationship between the mind and body. The mind is the body’s most sensitive organ in the body. It holds a lot of information that is stored in the brain and can control the brain’s behavior. When we think we’re a part of the brain, our senses are very sensitive.
This means that when people are thinking, they aren’t just thinking about themselves. They’re thinking about what happens to someone else, and so they’re not thinking about themselves. That is self-awareness. When we think are about ourselves, we are experiencing ourselves as if we are thinking about ourselves. That is self-control. When we are self-aware, we can consciously control how we think. That is self-awareness.
This is one of the major things that distinguishes a human being from a machine. In other words, our body is very aware and very responsive. Even without having a body, you can still feel your body. You can feel a chair, or a chair, and you can feel this chair. But you don’t really feel the chair, or maybe you do, but you don’t really feel the chair.
