Ad-blocking is a problem. It’s simply not effective enough. You can’t tell what you’re not going to see. Even if it’s in a place you’ve marked as ‘private’, you still have to do it manually. By giving publishers their own space to advertise within, we’re able to make it much easier for publishers to reach consumers who might not be aware of ad blocking.

If that’s true, then we’re talking about the most effective way of advertising an app. Ad-blockers do not work well for this. Ad-blockers are a blunt instrument that just won’t cut it.
